Wholesale grain, pulse and oilseed sourcing

Wheat, maize, rice, barley, pulses and oilseeds for importers, millers, food processors and distributors — by the vessel, container or bag.

The short answer

Global B2B Group helps commercial buyers source grains, rice, pulses and oilseeds through one reviewed request. You state the commodity and type, the grade or standard, the quality parameters you buy against, crop year, bulk or bagged shipment, volume, destination port and the inspection and documents your market requires; our project team reviews the request and, for programmes with a declared value from USD 250,000 per year or season, approaches suitable exporters, traders and processors on your behalf and returns comparable offers. We do not grow, store, trade, import or ship grain, we hold no stock and we publish no prices. The service is free for buyers.

What you can request

Requests are reviewed by commodity. Typical groups:

  • Wheat

Milling and durum wheat to a stated grade, protein and moisture specification.

  • Maize (corn)

Yellow or white maize for food processing, milling or feed programmes.

  • Rice

Long-, medium- or short-grain, white, parboiled or brown, with broken-kernel limits.

  • Barley and other cereals

Malting or feed barley, sorghum, oats and similar cereals.

  • Pulses

Lentils, chickpeas, dry peas and dry beans, whole or split.

  • Oilseeds

Soybeans and other oilseeds, including non-GM or identity-preserved lots where required.

Who uses this

  • Importers, traders and distributors
  • Flour mills, rice mills and maltsters
  • Food processors and packers
  • Retail and private-label buyers of packed rice and pulses

What a supplier needs to quote

Grain offers are comparable only when the request fixes these points:

Commodity and type
For example milling wheat, yellow maize, parboiled long-grain rice or red lentils, and the end use.
Grade or standard
The origin's official grade, a Codex standard or your own specification — state which one applies.
Quality parameters
The limits you buy against, such as moisture, protein, foreign matter, broken kernels or falling number, and how they are tested.
Crop year and GM status
New or old crop, and non-GM or identity-preserved requirements if your market sets them.
Shipment form and volume
Bulk vessel, bulk in containers, bags or big bags; quantity per shipment, number of shipments and contract period.
Inspection and contaminants
Independent inspection at loading, fumigation, and the mycotoxin and pesticide-residue limits of your destination.
Terms and documents
Incoterm® and port, phytosanitary certificate, certificate of origin and any contract form you use, such as a GAFTA or FOSFA form.
Delivery window and target price
Loading or arrival window, plus your target or budget price on a stated Incoterm® if you have one. A target price only guides the review; it is never published.

How this differs from a supplier directory

Directories and listing marketplaces leave you to find, contact and compare suppliers yourself. This service starts from your written requirement instead.

Global B2B Group is committed to conducting its own activities in accordance with applicable law. It facilitates sourcing and RFQs and does not itself produce, manufacture, export or sell the listed products, or approve them on behalf of any authority. Suppliers are responsible for the products and shipments they offer and supply meeting the requirements of the origin and destination countries — for example safety, quality, labelling, traceability, sanitary or phytosanitary certificates and export documents, where relevant. Buyers remain responsible for their own import permissions, local requirements and due diligence. Requirements differ by product and country; this is not legal advice. How a sourcing request works

  1. 1. Define

Describe the product, specification, volume per delivery, frequency, season, packaging, destination and Incoterm in the free request form.

  2. 2. Declare the programme value

State the total annual or seasonal value. Programmes from USD 250,000 move to supplier outreach; smaller requests are kept on file.

  3. 3. Review

Our project team checks the request for completeness and fit and asks clarifying questions before anyone is contacted.

  4. 4. Compare and decide

We approach suitable producers, packers or exporters on your behalf and return their offers side by side. Any introduction happens only with your approval.

Buyer questions

What is the minimum for a grain sourcing request?

A declared programme value from USD 250,000 per year or season. Smaller requests are kept on file but do not move to supplier outreach.

Do you publish grain prices or available stock?

No. We hold no stock and publish no prices or offers. Prices come only from suppliers who quote on your reviewed specification.

Which standards can I refer to in the request?

Many buyers use the origin's official grades or Codex standards, such as those for wheat, maize, rice and certain pulses, or their own specification. Name the standard and the test methods in the request so offers can be compared.

What documents does a grain import usually involve?

Requirements are set by the destination. A phytosanitary certificate and a certificate of origin are common, and some markets also require fumigation records or contaminant testing. Confirm the current rules with the competent authority before the first shipment.

Can I buy feed grains here?

Yes, state the end use in the request. If you are planning a feed mill or a livestock feed programme, our specialist platform FeedMatch covers feed projects.

Will a supplier contact me directly?

No. Our project team manages outreach and responses; any introduction happens only with your approval.

How do I keep quality consistent across repeat grain shipments?

Put the grade or standard, quality limits, test methods, crop year, bulk or bagged shipment and shipment schedule in the request and ask for the same terms on every shipment. Our team asks suppliers to quote against that specification and to state the volumes they can ship. Agree an inspection basis, such as independent sampling and analysis at loading, before the first order. Quality and volumes remain the supplier's commitment; we do not guarantee them.

What this service does not do

  • We do not grow, catch, farm, pack, import, export or ship products, and we do not hold stock.
  • We do not publish supplier lists, contact details, live offers or market prices.
  • Availability, price and delivery depend on season, origin, health rules and supplier capacity; nothing on this page is an offer or a guarantee.
  • Offers are returned as received. Our comparison does not certify quality, food safety, certification status or delivery performance.
  • Import rules, duties and documents depend on the product and destination; confirm them with the competent authority.
