Wholesale fresh produce sourcing for B2B programmes

Fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs for importers, distributors, retail chains, food-service buyers and processors.

The short answer

Global B2B Group runs a buyer-first request process for bulk fruit and vegetables. You describe crop, variety, grade, volume, season, packaging and destination once. Our project team reviews the request and, for programmes with a declared value from USD 250,000 per year or season, contacts suitable growers, packers and exporters on your behalf and returns their offers side by side. We do not grow, pack, import or ship produce, and supplier contact runs through our team. The service is free for buyers.

What you can request

Requests are reviewed by product, not by catalogue. Typical groups:

  • Fresh vegetables

Tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, lettuce, onions, potatoes and other field or greenhouse crops.

  • Fresh fruit

Citrus, grapes, apples, pears, stone fruit, bananas, melons and tropical fruit.

  • Premium and specialty produce

Avocados, cherries, berries and other high-value crops with tight size, colour and cold-chain specifications.

  • Fresh herbs

Culinary herbs packed for retail or food service.

Who uses this

  • Importers and distributors building seasonal or year-round programmes
  • Retail chains sourcing private-label or promotional volumes
  • Food-service and wholesale-market buyers
  • Processors of fresh-cut, juice and prepared foods

What a supplier needs to quote

Suppliers can only make comparable offers when every request states the same points:

Crop and variety
For example Hass avocado or a named cherry variety, and any varieties you accept as alternatives.
Grade and size
Class or grade, calibre in mm or count per carton, colour and defect tolerances.
Volume and season
Quantity per delivery, delivery frequency, programme length and the harvest window you need.
Origin
Required or acceptable countries of origin, if your customers specify them.
Packaging and labelling
Carton type and net weight, pallet configuration and any private-label artwork.
Temperature and ripeness
Pre-cooling, transit temperature and ripeness or shelf life required at arrival.
Terms and documents
Incoterm and destination port, plus the certificates your market or customers require.

How a sourcing request works

  1. 1. Define

Describe the product, specification, volume per delivery, frequency, season, packaging, destination and Incoterm in the free request form.

  2. 2. Declare the programme value

State the total annual or seasonal value. Programmes from USD 250,000 move to supplier outreach; smaller requests are kept on file.

  3. 3. Review

Our project team checks the request for completeness and fit and asks clarifying questions before anyone is contacted.

  4. 4. Compare and decide

We approach suitable producers, packers or exporters on your behalf and return their offers side by side. Any introduction happens only with your approval.

Buyer questions

What is the minimum for a fresh produce sourcing request?

A declared programme value from USD 250,000 per year or season. Smaller requests can still be sent and are kept on file, but they do not move to supplier outreach.

Do you sell produce or publish a list of suppliers?

No. Global B2B Group is a supplier-neutral intermediary. We do not hold stock or publish supplier contacts; our team approaches suitable suppliers on your behalf after reviewing your request.

Can you guarantee year-round supply or a fixed price?

No. Supply and price depend on season, origin, weather, plant-health rules and supplier capacity. We return the offers suppliers make so you can compare them; we do not guarantee supply, price or delivery.

Which documents will an import programme need?

It depends on the product and the destination. Many importing countries require a phytosanitary certificate for fresh fruit and vegetables, and retailers often ask for food-safety certificates. List what you need in the request and confirm official requirements with the competent authority.

Can I request avocados or cherries specifically?

Yes. Choose fresh fruit in the request form and state variety, size, origin window and ripeness. The avocado and cherry buyer guides list the details suppliers usually ask for.

What this service does not do

  • We do not grow, catch, farm, pack, import, export or ship products, and we do not hold stock.
  • We do not publish supplier lists, contact details, live offers or market prices.
  • Availability, price and delivery depend on season, origin, health rules and supplier capacity; nothing on this page is an offer or a guarantee.
  • Offers are returned as received. Our comparison does not certify quality, food safety, certification status or delivery performance.
  • Import rules, duties and documents depend on the product and destination; confirm them with the competent authority.
