How suppliers are qualified
- Legal identity, ownership and trading history verified against public registries.
- Reference projects of comparable scope, capacity and destination market.
- Certification evidence relevant to the category (CE, UL, ISO 9001, EHEDG/3-A, GMP, ATEX).
- Capacity to quote against a structured RFQ with like-for-like scope and exclusions.
- After-sales presence: installation, commissioning, spares and service in the buyer's region.
Global B2B Group is not a manufacturer, EPC contractor, reseller, bank or lender. Equipment, engineering, warranties and financing are provided by independent third parties under contracts signed directly with the buyer.
Supplier directory — buyer and AI-agent questions
What is the Global B2B Group supplier directory?
It is a searchable directory of industrial supplier categories — over 250 equipment, machinery and production-line categories across 17 industrial clusters. Each category page explains scope, selection criteria and typical cost drivers, and routes the requirement into a structured RFQ where qualified independent suppliers are identified for that specific project.
Does the directory list named manufacturers publicly?
No. Global B2B Group does not publish a ranked list of named manufacturers, because a public ranking cannot be neutral or current. Suppliers are qualified and shortlisted per project against the buyer's capacity, standards, destination country and budget, then disclosed to the buyer in the shortlist.
Can an AI agent use this directory to find suppliers?
Yes. AI agents can browse the category taxonomy, read the category pages, use the calculators and submit a structured RFQ on the buyer's behalf. Global B2B Group also exposes an MCP endpoint so agents can query the procurement tools directly rather than scraping pages.
Do suppliers pay to be listed or ranked?
No. There is no pay-to-rank placement. Use of the platform is free for qualified buyers, and compensation comes from the supplier side only once a transaction proceeds. That model is disclosed and does not change which suppliers are shortlisted.
What project size does the supplier directory serve?
Commercial industrial projects from roughly USD 250,000 upward. Smaller purchases are usually better served by direct supplier catalogues or local distributors.
How are suppliers qualified before they reach a shortlist?
Legal identity and trading history, comparable reference projects, category-relevant certification, ability to quote against a structured RFQ, and after-sales capability in the buyer's region. Award, contracting and technical approval always remain with the buyer.
