Method and assumptions
- Setter capacity assumed at 115,200 eggs per machine and hatcher capacity at 57,600 eggs, with an 18-day setter / 3-day hatcher cycle.
- Installed CAPEX uses a blended $0.55 per egg of weekly set capacity at the single-stage baseline, adjusted for concept and region.
- Building shell, HVAC and biosecurity works are included; land, breeder farms and hatchery waste plants are not.
