Frequently asked questions

What is special-purpose machinery?
Equipment engineered for one specific process or product when no catalogue machine meets the required throughput, format or hygiene standard.
How much does your service cost buyers?
Nothing. Our procurement service is free for buyers; we are compensated on the supply side and never sell our own equipment.
Can you also arrange financing?
Yes — equipment leasing, export credit agency cover, development bank programmes and project finance for complete plants.
How long does a machinery project take?
A specification and shortlist typically takes 2–4 weeks; build and commissioning depend on scope, usually 4–12 months.

Country-specific questions

United Kingdom

Can you source special-purpose machinery for a UK factory?
Yes. We specify the machine, shortlist qualified European and Asian builders, level quotations in GBP and manage UKCA/CE conformity, delivery to site and commissioning support in the United Kingdom.
How is machinery imported into the UK after Brexit?
We plan customs classification, duty and VAT treatment, Incoterms and inland transport before order placement, so landed cost in the UK is known at quotation stage rather than after shipment.

United States

Do suppliers deliver US-compliant machines?
We only shortlist builders able to deliver UL/NFPA 79 electrical design, imperial utilities and 480V/60Hz power, with US-based or contracted service coverage for the installed base.
Is financing available for US buyers?
Yes — equipment leasing, vendor finance and export credit from the supplier's country are all mapped for the project before you commit capex.

United Arab Emirates

Can you support free-zone projects in the UAE?
Yes. We handle equipment scope for Jebel Ali, KIZAD and other free zones, including civil interface data, high-ambient design (up to 50°C) and Gulf-standard documentation.
Who handles installation in the Gulf?
The selected builder supplies supervision; we contract local mechanical and electrical installation partners and hold them to the same commissioning milestones.

India

Do you source machinery for Indian plants?
Yes — imported European lines, Indian-built equipment, or hybrid scopes where the core machine is imported and utilities are built locally to reduce capex.
What about duties and BIS requirements?
Customs duty, IGST and any BIS or CE documentation requirements are checked during specification, so nothing blocks clearance at port.

South Africa

Can you deliver into South Africa and SADC?
Yes. We handle Durban and Cape Town port routing, SANS electrical requirements, and spare-part strategies that account for longer replenishment lead times.
