Manual palletising was the bottleneck and a growing source of injury risk on three shifts.
What we did
We benchmarked robot and gripper options, ran a cycle-time simulation with two shortlisted integrators and fixed acceptance criteria before order.
Outcome
Manual handling removed on three shifts; 1.9-year payback.
