The challenge
Export customers demanded new pack formats and full traceability at higher speed than the legacy line allowed.
What we did
We defined format changeover targets, qualified three suppliers, ran a witnessed trial run and negotiated spare-parts and service terms into the contract.
Outcome
Changeover time cut from 45 to 12 minutes; payback in 2.6 years.
