Energy Procurement Services
We support developers, sponsors, industrial off-takers and public authorities procuring solar, wind, hybrid and thermal energy assets. From feasibility through commercial operation, we prepare bankable procurement packages and route the financing conversation.
Renewable developers, industrial off-takers, public authorities
Scope we cover
Utility-scale solar and wind, distributed and captive solar for industrial off-takers, battery storage, hybrid and micro-grids, small thermal and CHP, and the associated EPC and O&M contracts.
PPA-linked procurement
Energy procurement is only bankable if the technical selection matches the PPA and the site's grid conditions. We align the RFQ, the PPA and the interconnection agreement from the start so lenders receive a coherent file.
EPC vs multi-contract
Full-wrap EPC is the norm for utility-scale renewables because it gives lenders a single accountable counterparty. For industrial captive solar and hybrids, multi-contract split-scope is often more economical. We help buyers pick the right model.
Financing and incentives
We route the file to matching commercial bank debt, green loans, DFI and multilateral participation, and — where the geography qualifies — ECA cover on equipment. We also flag applicable tax, tariff and feed-in incentives during the RFQ.
Managed industrial procurement services
Requirement scoping, qualified supplier sourcing, RFQ management, bid normalisation and financing routing for capital equipment and EPC projects — free for buyers. See the procurement service scope, eight-step process and pricing model, or start with the industrial RFQ guide.
FAQ
What does energy procurement include?
The RFQ for the EPC contractor (or the split-scope contractors), the O&M contract, spare-parts strategy, and the alignment with the PPA and the grid interconnection agreement. For captive solar, it also includes the industrial off-taker's tariff modelling.
Do you work on utility-scale and distributed?
Both. Utility-scale (10 MW+) developments are typically financed as project finance with EPC full-wrap. Distributed and captive solar for industrial off-takers are often financed as corporate debt against the industrial sponsor with split-scope EPC.
Which incentives do you consider?
Applicable feed-in tariffs, tax incentives, green loans, ECA cover, and where relevant carbon revenue. Every incentive that materially affects the tariff or the IRR is flagged in the RFQ and the financing memo.
Can you support hybrid solar-plus-storage?
Yes. Hybrid procurement requires the RFQ to specify the dispatch strategy, the round-trip efficiency guarantee, the augmentation schedule and the warranty terms across the two technologies. We build these into the pack from day one.
Which geographies do you cover?
Strongest coverage is Southern Europe, Middle East and North Africa, Southeast Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America. We adjust the RFQ template to the local grid codes and PPA conventions of the buyer country.
