The challenge
Land cost and labour availability made a conventional racked cold store unviable at the required volume.
What we did
We modelled throughput scenarios, qualified two ASRS suppliers and a refrigeration contractor, and split the contract to protect the interface risk.
Outcome
Storage density tripled per m²; energy per pallet down 22%.
