Free for buyers · Before you send an RFQ

Buyer sourcing hub for fresh produce, seafood and eggs

The buyer sourcing hub brings together free tools for commercial buyers of fruit, vegetables, seafood, eggs and poultry. Choose several products, state your programme once — origin preference, volume, grade, packing, one-off, seasonal or contract supply, destination, delivery window, documents and certifications — and send it as one structured request to our team. Before you send anything, you can compare offers you already hold on landed-cost components and work through checklists for suppliers, seasons, cold chain and market rules. Nothing is sent until you submit the reviewed form.

1. Choose the products for one request

Add as many products as one programme needs (up to 20). Each becomes a line on your request list, where you set its type, grade, size, quantity and packing. Listed products are products you can request — not stock or offers.

Fresh fruit & vegetables

Certified organic produce

Shrimp & prawns

Fish

Eggs

Poultry

Grains & pulses

2. State your programme needs once

These apply to every line. Leave anything you don't know blank — it is sent as "unknown", never guessed. The declared programme value and your contact details are added only in the request form.

Your RFQ so far

  • Your request goes to one reviewed inbox. A person on our team reads it; suppliers never receive your name or contact details unless you approve an introduction.
  • Files you attach in the form are stored privately, opened by our team only through time-limited links and never forwarded to suppliers automatically.
Review lines first

Nothing is sent yet: the form opens with your details copied in for you to check, complete and submit.

3. Compare offers you already hold

Put up to four offers side by side: your own notes and assessment of each offer, and a landed cost built only from the components you enter — price, freight, insurance, duty, import tax, storage, port fees and inland transport. Use it to benchmark existing quotes or to decide what to ask for.

From RFQ to decision in five steps

  1. Step 1

    You submit a structured RFQ

Product and specification (variety or species, grade, size or count, fresh, chilled or frozen), quantity per shipment and per season, timing or season, preferred origins and destination, the certifications and documents your market requires, packaging and labelling, and your preferred Incoterms® rule.

  2. Step 2

We clarify the need and identify potential suppliers

A person on our team reviews the request, asks about missing details, checks the declared programme value and runs trade-compliance screening, then looks for producers and exporters that may fit.

  3. Step 3

We coordinate supplier questions and collect comparable information

Our team asks suppliers the same questions on your behalf, without your company's name, and collects specifications, availability, documents and quotations where suppliers provide them.

  4. Step 4

We review the options with you

Price, specification, volume, availability window, documentation, delivery and logistics assumptions and open risks are set side by side, each figure labelled by how far it has been checked. We then agree next steps with you, such as samples or further questions.

  5. Step 5

    You decide whether to proceed

To go ahead with an option, you approve an introduction to that supplier; our team keeps coordinating open points, and the contract, payment terms and any inspection are agreed between you and the supplier. If nothing fits, you can adjust or close the request at no cost.

What we check — and what we don't

What our team does

  • Reviews the profile information and documents a supplier provides (products, specifications, certificates, export markets) against your request.
  • Labels every figure and document as pending, an estimate, supplier-quoted or independently checked. "Independently checked" is used only when we have compared it with the original document or the issuing body.
  • Runs trade-compliance screening, which must clear before a supplier is shortlisted.

What we do not do

  • On-site audits of farms, packhouses, vessels or plants, or inspection or laboratory testing of products.
  • Certify products or suppliers, or give legal, food-safety, technical or certification guarantees.
  • Act as producer, seller of record, importer of record, customs broker or carrier, or take ownership of goods.

Offers, stock, prices, delivery windows and certifications are confirmed for each RFQ. Importers keep their own legal duties — for example, supplier verification for US importers under FDA's Foreign Supplier Verification Programs rule, or traceability for EU food businesses under Regulation (EC) No 178/2002.

How your information is kept confidential

  • Your RFQ, documents and company details are treated as confidential; they are not published or used for marketing.
  • Suppliers are approached without your company's name or contact details. These are shared only when you approve an introduction to a specific supplier.
  • Supplier questions and answers run through our team, so you do not have to manage a separate thread with each supplier.

Commercial terms, stated plainly

Buyers pay nothing for RFQ review, supplier outreach, proposal comparison or financing introductions. Global B2B Group is compensated by the supplier side: a fee payable by the supplier the buyer selects, and only after a deal or project proceeds. Suppliers cannot pay for inclusion, ranking or recommendation, and nothing is payable while an RFQ is being evaluated. Because the fee comes from the supplier side, we disclose it to buyers and invite suppliers against documented selection criteria rather than describing ourselves as having no commercial interest. The buyer keeps sole authority over shortlisting, negotiation and award.

Assisted sourcing applies to programmes from USD 250,000 in total annual or seasonal value. Full details: how it works · company facts.
