Mozambique fruit and nut producers: checked privately for each request

Which public bodies matter, what to verify before contracting, and how one reviewed request gets you comparable offers from Mozambican suppliers. This page names no producer or exporter.

Prepared by the Global B2B Group project team · Published · Last reviewed · Scope: Mozambique's fruit and nut sector, with public bodies and associations as shown by sources checked on 25 October 2026. Ownership, operations and certificates change; every supplier is checked again for each request.

Also available in: Português (Moçambique)

How are Mozambican fruit and nut producers checked?

Privately, for each reviewed request. Our team identifies suitable producers and exporters of avocado, litchi, bananas, citrus, macadamia and cashew, then checks the contracting entity and its exporter registration, recent shipment evidence for your product and destination, approved codes where your market requires them, and certificates in each scheme's own database. This page does not publish supplier names, contact details or availability. We found no commercial cherry producer in Mozambique. Free for buyers; programmes from USD 250,000 per year or season.

Why no producers are listed

Global B2B Group is a buyer-side sourcing service, not a supplier directory. Producer and exporter identities are checked privately by our project team against each reviewed request, and you see named offers only after review and with your approval. Use the Mozambique sourcing guide for sourced trade figures, seasonal evidence and import requirements, then send your specification, destination, volumes and delivery window.

Public bodies and industry associations

These bodies are not suppliers. They matter to a buyer because they issue documents, set campaign rules or represent producers.

Cherries: no producer found

No commercial cherry grower or exporter appears in any source we checked. WITS records 411 kg of fresh cherry exports from Mozambique in 2024 — a statistical entry that does not show the cherries were grown there.

Before qualifying any Mozambican supplier: buyer checks

  • Contracting entity: the exact registered company that will sign and invoice, its NUIT and its registration as an exporter — group, brand and farm names often differ.
  • Fresh shipment evidence for the product and destination you need, not only a news report.
  • Approved codes where the destination requires them: production unit and packhouse codes for South Africa-bound bananas, GACC establishment registration for China-bound cashew and macadamia.
  • Certificates checked in the scheme's own database for the site, product and dates (for example GLOBALG.A.P. or a food-safety scheme) — a certificate mentioned in an old report proves nothing about today.
  • Volumes and seasons confirmed in the supplier's offer, not taken from planted area or press figures.
  • Ownership changes, closures or disease history (for example TR4 in northern banana areas) checked close to the order.

What this page is — and is not

We do

  • Explains which public bodies issue documents or set campaign rules for Mozambican fruit and nuts
  • Helps you prepare questions for supplier qualification
  • Feeds one route to offers: your reviewed request, after which our team approaches suitable suppliers on your behalf — free for buyers, programmes from USD 250,000 per year or season

We do not

  • List, name or rank suppliers, or say who is available now
  • Publish or pass on contact details, or arrange direct buyer–supplier contact
  • Verify or vouch for any certificate, registration, volume or compliance claim

To receive offers, put these in your request

  • Product, variety and specification
  • Volume, season total and arrival window
  • Destination, Incoterm and documents required
  • Certifications your customers require
  • Programme value per year or season

Our team turns these points into one reviewed request and approaches suitable suppliers on your behalf. Buyers pay nothing; sourcing programmes start from USD 250,000 per year or season, and every requirement is confirmed per shipment rather than assumed.

Frequently asked questions

Why does this page name no Mozambican producers?

Because we are a buyer-side sourcing service, not a supplier directory. Our team checks producers and exporters privately for each reviewed request and approaches the ones that fit it; you see named offers only after review.

Can you give me the contact details of a Mozambican exporter?

No. We do not publish or pass on supplier contact details, and suppliers do not receive yours. Send one reviewed request: our team approaches suitable suppliers on your behalf, returns comparable offers and arranges an introduction only after review and with your approval.

How do I verify a Mozambican fruit or nut exporter before contracting?

Confirm the registered contracting entity, its NUIT and exporter registration; ask for recent shipment documents for your product; check approved codes where your destination requires them (South Africa's approved banana facilities, GACC registration for China-bound nuts); verify certificates in the scheme's own database; and for raw cashew ask for the IAM credential and quality certificate.

Official guidance: Instituto de Amêndoas de Moçambique (IAM, IP) — requirements for exporting raw cashew nuts (undated; Portuguese)

How can I receive offers from Mozambican suppliers?

Use the request form in the Mozambique sourcing guide: product, specification, volume, delivery window, destination and Incoterms® rule. Our team reviews it and approaches suppliers on your behalf — no direct buyer–supplier contact before you approve an introduction. Buyers pay nothing; assisted sourcing applies to programmes of USD 250,000 or more per year or season.

We are a Mozambican producer or exporter — how can we be considered?

Present an offer for review through the producer and exporter form. Registrations are reviewed internally and never published, and they never buy a place, a ranking or an introduction.
