Partner brief — Asia manufacturing

Asia Manufacturing Partner Brief: structured international project demand

A one-page summary for manufacturers, engineering companies and industry bodies in China, Japan and South Korea. Global B2B Group is a buyer-side, supplier-neutral ecosystem for serious international industrial projects, structured RFQs, engineering and EPC scope, and financing readiness. Relevant projects generally start at about US$250,000.

Prepared for outreach by David Rand, VP Strategic Partnerships & Investments. This document supports conversations about exploring strategic cooperation; it does not claim any existing partnership, investment or agreement.

What Global B2B Group is — and is not

  • A buyer-side, supplier-neutral procurement ecosystem for international industrial projects.
  • A demand-definition layer: project scoping, structured RFQs, buyer verification and financing-readiness preparation.
  • A human-reviewed introduction process — a limited number of matched manufacturers per project, never a broadcast.
  • Not a supplier directory and not an open marketplace.
  • Not a lender, credit provider or financing-approval authority.
  • Not a manufacturer, EPC contractor or pricing authority.
  • We do not sell ranking, placement, exposure or buyer lists.

What we contribute to a manufacturer ecosystem

Manufacturer ecosystems are strong at supply depth, company presentation and standard-goods transactions. Project procurement needs a different input: a defined scope a manufacturer can actually quote against.

Structured project demand

Requirements arrive as capacity, process scope, delivery boundary, acceptance criteria and documentation requirements — not as a product enquiry.

Cross-category project definition

Cold chain, food and beverage processing, poultry, aquaculture, greenhouse, feed milling, packaging and automation scopes defined in one consistent format.

Buyer-side qualification

Legal entity, project stage (concept, pre-execution, funded) and decision path are checked by a person before anything is shared.

Financing and EPC readiness

Where relevant, we help the buyer organise export-credit and development-finance readiness. We do not lend and do not approve financing.

What we ask of manufacturing partners

  • Capability and engineering scope, including custom design and system integration.
  • Certifications and compliance documentation relevant to the destination market.
  • Export delivery record: countries served, customs experience, local service or spare-parts coverage.
  • Capacity, current production slots and realistic lead times.
  • Verifiable reference projects: country, year, capacity, process scope.

Applications are free, reviewed by a person, and carry no commitment on project volume or outcomes. There is no paid fast track.

Questions partners ask

Is this a partnership announcement?

No. This brief exists to support conversations about exploring strategic cooperation. It does not state or imply any existing partnership, investment, agreement or endorsement with any company or institution.

How is this different from a manufacturer marketplace?

Manufacturer ecosystems provide supply depth, company presentation and efficient transactions for standard goods. Global B2B Group works one layer earlier, on the buyer side: defining the project, verifying the buyer, structuring the RFQ and preparing financing readiness before any supplier conversation begins.

What project size is relevant?

Serious project review, supplier routing and financing-pathway discussion generally start at about US$250,000. Below that, we provide planning guidance and calculators only.

Do you publish lead volumes?

No. We publish category definitions, destination-region definitions and project-stage definitions. Verified aggregate statistics will only be published once the underlying data is sufficient and auditable, with the counting method and time window stated.
