Global B2B Group has a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption in any form. This policy applies to Global B2B Group personnel and to every user, supplier, buyer, representative, partner and third party interacting with the Platform.
1. Standards we apply
We operate in line with the principles of the UK Bribery Act 2010, the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), the OECD Anti-Bribery Convention and equivalent local regimes, including anti-corruption law in the Republic of Cyprus.
2. Prohibited conduct
You must not, directly or indirectly, offer, promise, give, request, agree to receive or accept:
- Any bribe, kickback or improper advantage;
- Any facilitation payment to expedite a routine action;
- Any payment, gift or hospitality intended to influence a Platform introduction, procurement decision, tender outcome or financing route;
- Any political contribution or charitable donation made to secure business.
3. Gifts and hospitality
Reasonable, transparent and infrequent business courtesies may be acceptable if they are of modest value, not intended to influence a decision, disclosed where required and compliant with local law and the recipient's own policy. When in doubt, decline.
4. Third parties
Users engaging third parties (agents, consultants, freight forwarders, customs brokers, local partners) must conduct proportionate due diligence, contractually require anti-bribery compliance and monitor performance.
5. Public officials
Interactions with public officials — including officials of state-owned enterprises, development banks and export credit agencies — must be conducted with heightened care and full compliance with applicable law.
6. Books and records
Payments and receipts related to Platform introductions must be accurately recorded in books and records that clearly reflect the transaction's true nature.
7. Reporting
Report suspected bribery, corruption, kickbacks, facilitation payments or attempts to influence Platform staff to ethics@globalb2bgroup.com. Reports are handled confidentially and without retaliation, to the extent permitted by law.
8. Enforcement
Breach of this policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of Platform access, referral to competent authorities, and any other remedy available under law, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
